The T20 World Cup is happening next month, and fans are getting ready for some exciting cricket. The tournament is happening in the West Indies and the US. Team India’s squad for the tournament has been announced by the BCCI, and there were some surprises. Fans are eagerly waiting to see India’s official T20 World Cup jersey. Adidas is making the jersey, and they usually make different ones for ODIs and T20Is. The ODI jersey has a collar and shows tiger stripes, while the T20I jersey has the Ashoka Chakra symbol on the Indian flag. Both jerseys have stripes on the shoulders.
Recently, a picture of India’s jersey for the upcoming tournament leaked on social media. The leaked photo shows the jersey with tri-color stripes on a v-shaped neck and Adidas stripes on saffron sleeves.
If this is indeed the jersey, it would be a big mistake by BCCI and Adidas, as jersey unveilings are usually a surprise.
The leaked photo caused a stir on social media. One fan said, “Not good.” Another called it a ‘training kit,’ while another said it was the “worst.”
