PSG’s Record Breaking Bid for Barcelona’s Lamine Yamal Confirmed

PSG's Record-Breaking Bid for Barcelona's Lamine Yamal Confirmed

The agent of Dani Olmo, a Barcelona midfielder, has confirmed that Barcelona turned down a record breaking bid from Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) for their young winger, Lamine Yamal. Earlier this summer, reports revealed that PSG had made a stunning €250 million bid to sign Yamal, just days before his 17th birthday.

Barcelona’s Quick Rejection

Barcelona rejected the offer very quickly, leading some fans to question whether PSG’s bid was real. Andy Bara, Yamal’s agent, confirmed on Podcast Inkubator, “I can definitely say that Barcelona did reject a substantial offer from PSG for Lamine Yamal a few months ago. The bid was around €250 million.”

Dani Olmo’s Transfer to Barcelona

Bara also discussed Dani Olmo’s transfer to Barcelona. Barcelona worked hard to gather the funds needed to sign Olmo, who had to wait two weeks before the club could officially add him to their La Liga squad. Despite the media buzz, Bara said Olmo never doubted the move.

We received many offers for Dani from several top clubs. I won’t name them, but Dani wanted to join Barcelona. We felt it was the perfect fit for him, and I strongly advocated for the transfer to Barcelona,” Bara explained.
