Anna Leigh Waters, a rising star in pickleball, is poised to become the highest-paid player in 2024, according to her agent, Kelly Wolf, as reported by Forbes. Her agency predicts she will earn more than $3 million this year, which would surpass the income of Ben Johns, who is currently ranked No. 1 by the Professional Pickleball Association (PPA).
Meanwhile, Ben Johns, the top-ranked player, mentioned to CNBC in May that he expects to earn over $2.5 million this year from his salary and endorsements.
During a phone interview, Wolf stated, “She will earn more than $3 million this year,” adding, “She has become the face of pickleball, and both the PPA Tour [Professional Pickleball Association] and MLP [Major League Pickleball] recognize that.“
“There is no one else right now with the number of deals she has,” Wolf added, as quoted by Forbes.
