Today, we’re highlighting the financial success of the top five IPL franchises for 2024.
In fifth place, the Kolkata Knight Riders saw a slight drop to ₹293 crore in FY 2023. Their strategic marketing and fan engagement keep them strong, boosted by their third IPL title.
Fourth place goes to the Chennai Super Kings, who earned ₹349 crore in FY 2022. Effective management and a loyal fan base, along with ₹78 crore from sponsorships, underscore their financial stability, driven by MS Dhoni’s leadership.
The Gujarat Titans rank third with ₹360 crore in FY 2022. Their rapid growth, thanks to smart branding and on-field success, has significantly boosted their finances.
Second are the Delhi Capitals, generating ₹367 crore and ₹72 crore from sponsorships in FY 2022. Their focus on young talent and aggressive play makes them a key competitor.
Leading the pack, the Mumbai Indians earned ₹737 crore in FY 2024. Their five IPL titles have greatly enhanced their brand value.
