Sanju Samson had another great performance with a 58-run innings against Zimbabwe in July 2024. In the fifth T20I of the series in Harare, Samson played a key role in setting a good total for India.
India had lost their top three batsmen with only 40 runs on the board when Samson stepped in. He built a 60-run partnership with Riyan Parag. Samson’s innings, which lasted 45 balls, included four sixes and one four. Thanks to his efforts, India ended up with 167 runs and won the match by 45 runs.

Sanju Samson’s 40-run innings against Ireland in August 2023 is one of his best T20I performances. Playing in Malahide, Samson came in at an important time and quickly took charge.
After Ruturaj Gaikwad made a half-century, Samson took advantage of the good start and scored 40 runs off just 26 balls. His innings included one six and five fours. Rinku Singh also batted well from the other end, and together they helped India reach a strong total of 185 runs.

Samson’s calm batting and ability to find gaps were important in keeping India’s innings steady. He and Shreyas Iyer formed an 80-run partnership that helped India win by 7 wickets. However, Samson got out to Lahiru Kumara in the 13th over before he could finish the game.

Sanju Samson had a short but impactful innings against the West Indies in the fourth T20I of the 2022 series. The match was played on a new pitch in Florida, where Rohit Sharma won the toss and chose to bat first.
Samson came in at number 5 and scored 30 runs off 23 balls during the final overs. Axar Patel also contributed 20 runs off 8 balls, helping India reach a winning total of 195 runs. However, Samson didn’t have much chance to show his skills due to limited opportunities in the death overs.
