Over his career in the league, he has consistently taken wickets, making him a key player for the Sydney Sixers. As of 2024, Dwarshuis has taken an impressive 117 wickets in 95 matches. His ability to deliver crucial breakthroughs and maintain a tight economy rate has made him a valuable asset in the BBL, earning him recognition as one of the league’s leading wicket-takers.

Kane Richardson played for the Adelaide Strikers in the first six seasons of the Big Bash League, helping them reach the semi-finals in 2014/15 and 2015/16. He took 37 wickets in 36 matches. Richardson has been the lead bowler for the Melbourne Renegades, leading them to their only trophy in 2018/19. Known for his accurate yorkers, he was the top wicket-taker that season with 24 wickets in 14 matches, achieving an economy rate of 7.75. This was a record for the most wickets in a single BBL season at the time. He has a total wickets of 129 in BBL.
2. Andrew Tye

After playing for the Sydney Thunder in 2013/14, Andrew Tye joined the Perth Scorchers in 2014/15 and made an immediate impact with 14 wickets in 10 matches. He is known for his death bowling, he helped the Scorchers win three BBL titles and finish runners-up . The 2019/20 season was missed by him due to an elbow injury. Tye has consistently taken 10 or more wickets each season. As of 2024, he has a total of 144 wickets in the BBL.
