5. Chamari Athapaththu
Chamari Athapaththu, the legendary Sri Lankan all-rounder, has achieved nine centuries in her 107-match ODI career so far. Since making her ODI debut in April 2010, she has accumulated nearly 4,000 runs at an average of 36.40. Her first century came in 2011, scoring 111 runs against Ireland.
One of her standout performances was when she scored an unbeaten 195* from 139 balls during a tough chase against South Africa at Potchefstroom in April 2024.

4. Nat Sciver-Brunt
Nat Sciver-Brunt from England has also scored nine centuries, coming from just 96 ODI innings. She started her ODI career in July 2013 with a match against Pakistan, but her first century came four years later, during the 2017 ODI World Cup. During the same tournament, she also got her second ODI hundred, playing a key role in England’s World Cup win.
In the 2022 World Cup final against Australia at Hagley Oval, Sciver-Brunt scored an unbeaten 148 from 121 balls, although her efforts were not enough to win the game due to lack of support from her teammates.
3. Tammy Beaumont
Tammy Beaumont became the first Englishwoman to reach 10 ODI centuries and third overall in international women’s cricket when she scored 150* against Ireland in September 2024. Beaumont, who debuted in 2009, has scored over 4,000 runs at an impressive average of 40.82. The match against Ireland was also her second 150-plus score in ODIs, with her previous one being 168* against Pakistan in 2016.
Notably, Beaumont has scored back-to-back centuries twice—first in 2016 for the first two centuries of her career and again in 2018 against South Africa.
2. Suzie Bates
New Zealand’s Suzie Bates has scored 13 centuries against seven different teams in ODIs by September 2024. She made her ODI debut in March 2006, scoring her first hundred in 2007 against India. Bates has also scored at least one century in each of her four World Cup appearances, starting from the 2009 edition.
Bates not only has the second most centuries in ODIs, but she is also the third-highest run-scorer in women’s ODIs, trailing only Mithali Raj and Charlotte Edwards. Additionally, Bates has taken 78 wickets in ODIs, making her one of the best all-rounders.
