Shahid Afridi – 153 Meters

Shahid Afridi, a beloved figure in Pakistan cricket, was known for his dangerous batting style, though not the most technically sound batsman. He excelled in controlling runs, taking wickets, and fielding, but it was his aggressive batting that instilled fear in opponents. Allowed to play aggressively from the start, Afridi achieved many successful innings.

On March 17, 2013, during a One Day International against South Africa in Johannesburg, Afridi hit a length ball from Ryan McLaren for a massive six. This incredible shot was recorded at 153 meters, making it the highest six in cricket history, although the ICC later recognized it as 120 meters.

Brett Lee – 130-135 Meters

Brett Lee, part of the 2003 World Cup-winning Australian team, was a valuable lower-order batsman known for his ability to contribute crucial runs. In a Test match against the West Indies in 2005 at the Gabba, Lee displayed his hitting prowess by scoring 47 runs, which included the highest six in cricket history, traveling between 130 and 135 meters. This six is officially recognized as the longest because cameras captured the ball sailing over the stadium roof into the practice nets, confirming it traveled at least 135 meters.

Martin Guptill – 127 Meters

Martin Guptill of New Zealand, known for his power-hitting, recorded the third-longest six in cricket history with an impressive 127-meter shot against Lonwabo Tsotsobe from South Africa. This remarkable hit, which is the highest six in cricket history, occurred during a T20I at Westpac Stadium in Wellington. Guptill sent the ball soaring over the mid-wicket boundary and into the stadium roof. He finished the match with 78 runs off 55 balls, leading New Zealand to a six-wicket victory.

Liam Livingstone – 122 Meters

Liam Livingstone is considered one of England’s best white-ball players, known for his strength and ability to hit the ball hard. In a T20I against Pakistan in 2021, he hit the highest six in cricket history, launching a massive shot off Haris Rauf that traveled an incredible 122 meters over the roof and onto the adjacent rugby field. His quick innings of 38 runs helped England reach a total of 200 runs, leading to a 45-run victory over Pakistan.

Corey Anderson – 122 Meters

Corey Anderson ranks fifth on the list of the highest six in cricket history with an incredible 122-meter six against India in 2014. In the first ODI, he launched a massive six off Mohammad Shami over the square leg boundary, landing on the roof. His unbeaten score of 68 contributed to New Zealand’s total of 292 runs, while India could only manage 268 runs, earning Anderson the Player of the Match award.

Yuvraj Singh – 119 Meters
