5. Imran Khan (Pakistan)

In 1992, he led them to win the World Cup, which is still a big deal for Pakistan cricket. Khan also helped train great fast bowlers like Wasim Akram and Waqar Younis. They became famous for how fast they could bowl. Khan wasn’t just a good captain, he was also a fast bowler who could score points quickly. He played in 88 Tests and 175 ODI matches, taking 362 wickets in Tests and 182 wickets in ODI matches.

4. Steve Waugh (Australia)

Steve Waugh was a really good captain for Australia’s cricket team. He helped make Australia really strong, so they could beat any team, anywhere in the world. In 1999, he led Australia to win the World Cup for the second time. Waugh wasn’t just good at leading the team on the field, he was also good at using words to challenge opponents. He made sure his team played with a lot of energy and determination, making them one of the best cricket teams for more than ten years. Waugh played 168 Test matches for Australia, scoring 10927 runs, and 325 one-day international matches, scoring 7569 runs.

3. Sourav Ganguly (India)

Sourav Ganguly was a captain who made the Indian cricket team brave and aggressive. He led by example and made the opponents scared of facing India. Remember his famous celebration without a shirt at Lords? It showed how lively and united the team was under him. He took India to the final of the 2003 Cricket World Cup, although they lost to Australia. Ganguly played 113 Test matches and 311 ODIs for India, scoring 7212 runs and 11363 runs respectively.

He was not only a good captain but also led by example with his own excellent batting skills. Kohli’s team did well in one-day and T20 matches too, winning series in countries like South Africa, Australia, and New Zealand. He made India tough to beat, even in matches away from home. Kohli’s attitude of making opponents feel uncomfortable during matches became famous. Although he’s not captain anymore, Kohli still plays for India and helps the team with his batting.
