Virat Kohli scored his eighth century in the Indian Premier League (IPL) and his ninth overall in T20 cricket. This happened on Saturday, April 6, during a match against the Rajasthan Royals (RR) at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur in the IPL 2024 season. He made 113 runs without getting out.
This century was significant because it moved Kohli to third place for the most centuries scored by a men’s cricketer in T20 cricket history. Chris Gayle, who used to play with Kohli for Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB), holds the record with 22 centuries in T20 cricket.
